Why is my embed code not converting in Sway, and why can I not find an embed option in OneDrive?

Hello, I am having trouble embedding video in Sway.

I have been able to successfully upload a first video to my Sway once. This was probably on 11/7/24 or 11/8/24. If I remember correctly, I copied the embed code using the "Share" button on YouTube. When I tried to repeat this this week with a second video, however, Sway gave me the following error message:

"Sorry, something went wrong. We can't convert this embed code."

I have tried it using 1) right-click to get embed code from YouTube and 2) using the "share" button to get embed code from YouTube, but neither worked. I also attempted it with the embed code from the first video that had worked previously, to see if the issue was particular to the second video, but it did not work with the first video either (meaning that I couldn't add it to a new embed card, even though it still plays on the first one I added it to).

I thought that the issue might be with YouTube, so I tried to embed video from OneDrive, but on OneDrive I cannot even the embed code to copy. I believe your help article said that it should show up at the top of the screen once I select a file, but it has not.

    Hello,

I wanted to let you know that I have now managed to find the way to get embed code for OneDrive files. When I clicked to open a particular file and selected Share, there was an option to get the embed code. The OneDrive files have also successfully embedded in my Sway, even though YouTube videos still won't embed.

    Thank you!
