drop down box that inputs multiple data

Hi so bare with me as this might sound slightly complicated.

I'm looking to speed up invoicing by having a drop down box that when I select an item the price is input further down the line.

so when I open the drop down box and select an item then the price for that item is automatically input onto the unit price line, instead of having to go through and find the price for each item each time.

this might not be possible but worth an ask.

If you have a two-column list or table elsewhere with the items in the first column and the corresponding prices in the second column, you can use a VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP formula to return the price based on the selection in the drop-down.
