is python in excel available in Microsoft 365 Business basic subscription

Question

I needed to use the Python in Excel function. I search, and learned that it is available in Microsoft 365 Business subscription. But I wanted to know if a Business Basis subscription will do? Is Python in Excel already available in basic?

According to your description, you have already referred to the corresponding support information and can use Python in Microsoft 365 Business Edition, but regarding the use of Python in Business Basis subscription, we need to explain to you:

Under Business Basis subscription, you cannot use Python functions in Excel.

This is mainly because, in Microsoft 365 Business Basis subscription, you can only use the web version of Office and OneDrive storage space, and you cannot use the Excel application directly.

As for Python in Excel, it can only be used in Excel for Windows at present. This function is not applicable to the Web version of Excel.

You can use Python functions in Excel of Office 365 Business Premium, but only in Excel for Windows.

Office 365 Business Premium includes desktop applications, and you can download and use more functional information on the desktop.
