How To Convert Time to a Number in Excel?

Hello,

Im seeking assistance converting time to a number in excel.

I want to set the time as just a number. As an example. From the screenshot below I want 0:11:16 to just appear as 11

The cell is custom set to h:mm:ss

Any assistance most appreciated

    1.Using custom formatting:

    In the Format Cells dialog, go to the Number tab>Select Custom from the list on the left>In the Type field, enter the following format:

    [m]

    2.Using Formula:

    =VALUE(TEXT(A1, "[m]"))
