Restricting users to modify the filter

I am Creating a 'My Task' list will all the tasks assigned to different people of the organization. When a user opens that list, he needs to see only his tasks. This can be possible by creating a view where 'Assigned To' is '[Me]' but if they remove the filter, they will see all other tasks. I want specified user only to see their tasks.
How to solve this issue.

Thanks in Advance.

    Dear and respected,

We went through your post carefully and do understand your demand of allowing users only able to view their own assigned tasks, as filters can be removed in a list and the users will be able to see all items with read permissions for the entire list. Please let me know if I made any misunderstanding.

For such a demand, we are sorry to convey that currently there has no out-of-box/built-in feature or settings to achieve it. Currently there only has the setting that allow users only able to see items they created in a list. For reference: How to set up permission settings in a Microsoft List? - Microsoft Q&A

However, I do agree that it will be more user-friendly for management and organizations requiring this kind of control filter to prevent users from viewing other sensitive information. It seems like other community users shared a same requirement before: MS List - Restrictions to see view 'All Items' - Microsoft Community

Given this situation, I sincerely recommend you use Feedback Community to suggest this feature limitation and add your valuable idea in the SharePoint · Feedback Community (microsoft.com) which is the best place to share ideas directly with the product building team and improve the Microsoft Products.

Feedback submit by this way directly goes to the related team. This is the best way to let SharePoint development team aware of this situation and also know your requirements, your valuable ideas and suggestions will help improve the product and make it better for every user.

I appreciate your time and effort on checking these above and thank you for your time and cooperation.

I hope that you are keeping safe and well.

    Sincerely,

    Mia | Microsoft Community Moderator
