Issue with Creating Presentations Using Copilot in Microsoft 365

Hello,

I recently purchased a Copilot Pro license in addition to my existing "Microsoft 365 Family" subscription. One of the main reasons for upgrading was to create presentations based on files using Copilot.

After installing and updating the Copilot Pro license, I now have the Copilot button available in all apps, which opens the Copilot chat. Additionally, I see a small Copilot icon above my slide in PowerPoint.

When I click on the Copilot icon and select "Create Presentation," a window appears asking me to describe the presentation topic. At the bottom of the window, there is a paperclip icon. When I click on it, I see the message "/ Enter to create a link to a file."

However, I am unsure what exactly I am supposed to enter here—should I type the file name? Below this field is a dropdown labeled "Files" with the message "Cannot find this file. Please check the file name or try again later." No matter what I type, the list remains empty.

I have consulted the guides on the Microsoft website, and according to the documentation, I should be presented with a list of files to choose from, and I would simply need to select the file name. But this is not happening.

Could you please assist me in resolving this issue and enable the ability to create presentations based on files?

Thank you for your help!

Current PowerPoint Version is 2412 (build 18314.200000, click-n-go, beta-channel).

Unless Microsoft has changed things recently, in order to create presentations from Word, for example, you need an enterprise Office account (ie, multiple seat license) and a CoPilot subscription to go with it at $30 per user with a fairly large minimum number of users.

They hide this information quite well.
