Home & Student 2021 Installation problem

I installed MS Office Home & Student 2021 via electronic download. I received a success message How do I locate the icons for the products? The existing ones on my MAC desktop display License Volume 2019. How do I open the new software versions?

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

    I understand that after you installed Microsoft Office 2021 on your Mac, the license shown remains Office 2019.

    If this happens on Mac, first consider the case that the previous license of Office 2019 was not cleared. You can manually clear the license information in the way mentioned in the following link(Just proceed to step 4):

    If the problem persists then it is recommended that you uninstall your current Mac and then reinstall the Office software by doing the following:

    Download and install or reinstall Microsoft 365 or Office 2021 on a PC or Mac - Microsoft Support
