Cannot Type, Edit, or create blank documents on Word, Powerpoint or Excel

Hi,

I have a Office 365 license from which I have installed Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Outlook on my Macbook.

I am unable to create blank documents. The loading icon keeps rotating and it stays the same until the apps are "Force Quit". The Apps basically freezes.

This does not only happen in Word, Powerpoint, Excel but in Outlook also. I am unable to write a new email or reply to one. I can only read the email.

Some of the template on the Apps work, which I can use to edit the content. But I am unable to open the already saved documents.

Below is the error,

It sounds like your copy of Office did not install correctly. Please uninstall following these directions: Uninstall Office for Mac Then visit the Services & subscriptions page of your Microsoft account and click on the Install link beside your version of Office or Microsoft 365. After the installer downloads, run it to reinstall.

Please try creating a new user account in System Settings>User & Groups. Then sign in to that user and see if the problem occurs in that account.

This worked but after a restart it persists.

In the Activity Monitor it shows as "Microsoft Word (Not Responding)".
