Dear Tom Hayden1
Welcome to consult the Microsoft community! I hope everything is going well.
I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems installing Office products, and I understand how you feel.
Regarding removing one of the Office licenses, please try deleting the saved credentials first:
Exit all Office programs > Windows Search Credential Manager > Windows Credentials > Delete all Office related credentials > Open an Office program to log in to the product account password you want to keep.
If there is no record in the Credential Manager, then please try to remove the product serial number for Office via the command prompt.
Before removing the serial number, please open the Office program and log out of all accounts in the Accounts screen.
- Windows search for Command Prompt and run it as administrator.2. Run the following command:cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office16(In this command, Program Files or Program Files (x86) depends on whether you are installing 32-bit or 64-bit Office, you can first look in this path, there is no ospp.vbs file)cscript ospp.vbs /dstatus3. After running, you can see that there will be some five-digit code, all written down. For example, if the code is WB222, then run the following command:cscript ospp.vbs /unpkey:WB222
- If you see that the serial number is successfully removed, go to re-open Office to see the results.
Try to download the Uninstall Office tool in the link after Uninstall Office from a PC - Microsoft Support. Then go to your Microsoft Account Services & Subscriptions page and select Office 2019 under your products to install.
Thank you for your understanding and patience. Please feel free to let me know if you have any other updates, thank you.
