    Dear Johannah Davis,

    Good day!!

I understand your concern and to my knowledge, I would like to convey that when you create a Plan in the Microsoft Planner, the Plan will be associated with the new Microsoft 365 group and existing Microsoft 365 group as per our selection and there is no out of the box to delete the Calendar of the Microsoft 365 group without deleting the Microsoft 365 group.

Moreover, when we create a new Plan without associated either with new group or existing group, the plan created will be acted as a private plan where you won’t be able to add other members to the Plan until you connected it with the group.

I agree with you on having the ability to create the Plan without Microsoft 365 group or ability to disable the Calendar associated with the group created by Plan in the Microsoft Planner will benefit the users and I suggest you to add your valuable ideas as feedback in the Planner · Community which is the best place to share our ideas and improve the Microsoft products.

Appreciate your patience and understanding. Have a great day!!

    Best Regards,
    Sophia
