There are a couple of videos which show that the Data Validation (List) is now searchable in excel.
However, the search option doesn't seem to work. Any inputs please, thanks in advance. Excel version shows 2308 Build

The feature is released on Auguest 28,2023 on current channel. It seems you are using Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel.
You will need to wait the feature to be released to that channel or change update channel to current channel.
