In order to understand your query and provide possible solution, May I please double confirm if you are using a Microsoft 365 business email account or a personal Microsoft account such as outlook.com, hotmail.com, or live.com or other third-party email provider email account?
- May I please double confirm if you tried to delete permanently using shift + Delete hot key or Delete using right click delete?
- May I please double confirm the email client you are using? Is it Outlook for Mac, Outlook for Windows, Outlook for Mobile or Outlook on the web? could you please provide us with the screenshot of your outlook version details? see What version of Outlook do I have? - Microsoft Support
- May I please double confirm if this issue is when you delete emails particular to Junk folder or you are experiencing same issue with other folders?
