I use Windows 11 Pro and Office 365 on a laptop. I've installed apps for Excel, OneDrive, Outlook, and Word on my iPhone and iPad. I've also added Outlook to Apple's Mail App on my iPhone and iPad.

Windows Multi Factor Authentication is enabled so I need to use an App Password for Apple's Mail App.

I recently changed the password to my Microsoft Account and created a new App password. The new password is working, but not the App password.

Please let me know any suggestions for fixing issue with App password. Thanks.

The App password created with Microsoft does not work - even when used for web access for my Microsoft using Edge browser. Only the non-App password works, but it requires MFA.

    Hi MG__,

Thanks for your post in Microsoft Community.

Based on your description, it appears that the passwords at the Microsoft level are working as expected, but the passwords at the Apple level are not functioning as intended. This seems to be more of an Apple issue. I recommend that you contact the Apple Support team for further assistance.
