Is "basic" Copilot Access Available with Microsoft 365 Personal Subscription?

I recently purchased a Microsoft 365 Personal subscription, expecting access to basic Copilot features. However, I've been unable to enable these features, which were the primary reason for my subscription. Are any Copilot capabilities available on the Personal plan, or are they restricted to the higher $30 per month plans?

If Copilot is not included in my plan, please let me know about any upgrade options or how to process a refund.

I appreciate your help.

Regards,

Amal

    This is being phased in.

It just hit the United States market last week.

It started being introduced in some other markets last year.

There are a ton of posts here from people wanting to turn it off!

    This is a lite version.

    Where are you located?

What is the price, in US dollars, for a Microsoft 365 subscripton?

"BASIC" is a good way to put it.

    For example,

When you first go to microsoft.com, there a banner stating Personal and Family ...LEARN MORE>>

    Learn More goes to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/buy/compare-all-microsoft-365-products

At the bottom of that page is "Frequently Asked Questions"

The 4th-from-the-bottom is : "Where can I learn more about Copilot", whose Answer is:

Visit our Copilot help & learning site to start using Copilot today. That goes to a page whose 2nd section is called: DISCOVER COPILOT IN MICROSOFT 365:

Which sure, we don't have some of those apps. But we DO have, for example, OneDrive where *I* have 10 years worth of files which I would LOVE TO do this: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/copilot-in-onedrive-help-learning-097c9c3d-7f20-48a9-a341-2ab2519941d2

Hello Amal AlZamel, Thanks for using Microsoft products and posting in the community. May I ask if you are trying to use copilot in Microsoft 365?

For individual users, you will need to subscribe to Copilot Pro again to use Copilot in Microsoft 365:Copilot Pro Plan & Pricing – Premium AI Features & Latest Models I Microsoft Store

    Of course, Copilot pro is an additional subscription that you will need to pay extra for;

If you don't want to pay for it, you can also contact our online support for a refund by following the steps below:

    1. Visit this website: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/home/contact
    2. Type in your problems in the search box there. For instance, subscription/Tax invoices/refund, etc.
    3. Now click Get help, and Select Contact Support below.
    4. Go to the Products and services tab, and choose either Microsoft 365 and Office category or Other Products
    5. On the Category tab, choose Manage My Subscription or other alternatives.
    6. Go to Confirm.
    7. You can now choose the option of Chat with a support agent on your web browser.

**Please Note:**The Chat support team only works at certain times, so if the last window says you are not available, try to open it again the next day. If you prefer phone support, you can leave a phone number. That way, they can call you and help you.

Thank you for your understanding. We wish you the best of luck in resolving your issue. Best Regards,Arthur - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
