I have successfully embedded my Excel spreasheet into my wesbite however, it can only be viewed of if you have a Microsoft log-in. After looking at the different forums, I tried changing the website in the embed code to the "anyone with link can edit" but it still does not work. It still requires a sign on. Is it possible for the public to view my spreadsheet?

    Dear EWitt,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

I'm truly sorry for the inconvenience you are experiencing because of the inability to view embedded excel sheet if not signed in. I understand that it’s frustrating and I apologize for any inconvenience caused.

We understand that this limitation can be frustrating, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience it may cause. SharePoint/OneDrive requires some form of authentication in this situation, as it was designed with a focus on file storage rather than public file sharing. We greatly appreciate your understanding, and I agree that adding this feature to SharePoint/OneDrive would be a valuable enhancement.

Microsoft values user feedback. We encourage you to share your thoughts and suggestions through our feedback community under OneDrive · Community (microsoft.com). The product development team monitors this site around the clock and your feedback will be considered. This is the best way to let the team know your needs and help improve our products and services. We hope to see this feature in the future version of SharePoint/OneDrive.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and cooperation.

    Sincerely,

Ralph Chawatama | Microsoft Community Moderator
