Whenever i wanted to add-on to my drop-down list in MS Forms, we will receive an error message stating "Please reduce the number of question options or text in title/subtitle to save your changes.". Does that means there's limit to the drop-down options?

    Dear User,

    Good day!!

As per the description shared, I understand your concern and to my search, I found that the number of options that can be added to the choice question type in the Form or Quiz is 499 but the total number of characters per each question is 4000 characters.

For example, I created a Choice question with some sample data and I was able to reproduce the problem because of Character limitation for the question types in Microsoft Forms.

So, I request you to either reduce the characters in the Choice question type or split you choice question into different Choice questions to prevent from the error message.

I agree with you on having the ability to change or lift the limitations on the characters of the questions in the Microsoft Forms and I suggest you add your valuable ideas as feedback in the Microsoft Forms · Community is the best place to share our ideas and improve the Microsoft products.

Appreciate your patience and understanding. Have a great day!!

    Best Regards,

    Sophia
