    Dear Clive Varejes,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

We understand that you received an email message about payment failure in your email address.

According to your description, your va***@iafrica.com email address is not in use but you still received the payment email message. We are very sorry that you received the wrong email message. Regarding your email account and payment information, we need to explain to you:

If you have deleted and closed va***@iafrica.com as a Microsoft account, your email address will not be able to log in to other Microsoft products and we will delete your data. However, we are worried that you received an email message because other users filled in the email address and displayed an error, which caused you to receive an email indicating that the payment failed.

Don't worry, if your account is no longer in use or no payment method is added to the account, your payment will not be successful, and we will not help you collect the fee information.

At the same time, we see that you said that the subscription mailbox is now inaccessible and blocked by mistake. You are displaying an error when logging into your account. You can try:

Log in to the Microsoft dashboard to confirm whether your account can be logged in successfully. This can help confirm whether the account status is correct.

Account data is stored on highly encrypted servers that few people can access. We also recommend that you try filling out the account recovery form to help you confirm your account:

Help with the Microsoft account recovery form - Microsoft Support

At the same time, in order to help you further confirm whether your previous account information and data are still retained, we also recommend that you try to contact chat support to help you check the status of your account and whether the data information is normal:

It is a one-to-one communication window, and the open nature of the current community makes it inappropriate to handle this type of issue publicly. Here are some steps to contact Chat support:

    <--Contact Microsoft Support-->

1.Visit this website: Contact - Microsoft Support

2.Type in your problems in the search box there.

3.Now click Get help, and Select Contact Support below.

4.Go to the Products and services tab, and choose either Microsoft 365 and Office category or Other Products

5.On the Category tab, choose Manage My Subscription or other alternatives.

    6.Go to Confirm.

7.You can now choose the option of Chat with a support agent on your web browser.

Please Note: The Chat support team only works at certain times, so if the last window says you are not available, try to open it again the next day. If you prefer phone support, you can leave a phone number. That way, they can call you and help you.

    Best Regards,

Zenobia.Z | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
