Issue creating a TempVar

I am having an issue creating a TempVar. this is the code TempVars!Temp.PL_ID = DLookup("Overhead_ID", "ProfitLoss_Temp") but it returns an error"

Object doesn't support this property or method.

    Hi,

    The error occurs because your can't use a dot in the name of a tempvar.
