I have used Word on my iPad for years, and now I have a Macbook Air I’d like to use it on that. I’m having trouble with that. It seems that Microsoft want me to buy the software again. Is there a solution? Please help

John Korchok 232.8K Reputation points Volunteer Moderator2024-08-23T17:24:30+00:00 If you are a Microsoft 365 Personal, Family or Business subscriber, visit the Services & subscriptions page of your Microsoft account and click on the Install link beside your Microsoft 365 listing.
If you are not a subscriber, or have a Microsoft 365 Basic subscription, you'll have to upgrade your plan or buy Office 2021.
