They are now in the deleteditems folder but i am unable to delete

I tried also mfcmapi but not solved

Tried also some command on powershell

    Dear dbellei.admin,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community.

In order to understand your query and provide possible solution, May I please double confirm if you are getting any error message when you try to deleted emails from deleted item folder? If yes, could you please provide us with the screenshot of the error message?

    • May I please know if you or your organization admin set a retention policy on the deleted folder or the mailbox ?
    • May I please double confirm if you enabled In-place hold, litigation hold or single recovery hold? if not, May I please know if you tried to purge emails from the recoverable item folders? If not, kindly try to purge emails in the recoverable item folders and check if there is any difference. You can refer to Clean up or delete items from the Recoverable Items folder in Exchange Online | Microsoft Learn
    • May I please double confirm if you enabled archive mailbox for your account? If not, kindly try to enable archive mailbox and check if there is any difference. To enable archive mailbox, see Enable archive mailboxes for Microsoft 365 | Microsoft Learn
    • If the issue still persists, May I please know the subscription plan your account assigned? Is it Microsoft Business or Enterprise?

I look forward to your response. Kindly note that the above requested information is required for further analysis and troubleshooting of your situation. Your patience and cooperation are much appreciated.

Thank you for your precious time. Have a nice day.Sincerely,Libeamlak | Microsoft Community Moderator
