Table description in the text

Hello, I would like to remove in the text above the Table, the 't' just before the number of the table:

Because as you can see it looks strange in the text when I have Table t 3.1...

    It is difficult to tell for certain based on just a screen shot, but it looks like the "t" is included in the table caption which is why it is also included in the cross-reference.

    How did you apply the table numbering? Is it based on caption labels and their numbering or is it based on paragraph numbering?
