I do File, Options, Add-in and check the Data Analysis Toolpack add-in and click OK. Nothing happens. Tried several times. Computer date and time are correct. Did it load and I can't find it. I assume it goes into the Data section but see it nowhere.

    Hi Harold Balaban,

Thanks for your post in Microsoft Community.

You might have missed a step; I suggest you follow the steps below to attempt to enable the Data Analysis ToolPak add-in again. Open the Excel application > File > Options > Add-ins > Find Analysis ToolPak > Do not click OK, go to Manage add-ins and click Go.

In the new window, check the box for Analysis ToolPak, and finally click OK.

A loading progress bar will appear at the bottom of the Excel application.

Once it's loaded, you should be able to find the Data Analysis button under the Data tab in the Ribbon.

I hope the information above is helpful to you, and I look forward to your reply!

    Best Regards,

There might be an issue with your Excel application, and it may not have included the necessary add-in package. You could try performing a complete uninstallation and reinstallation of Office as per the following steps.

    1. Click the following link to download the Office uninstall automated tool: https://aka.ms/SaRA-OfficeUninstallFromPC, which will automatically clear all Office registry information.
    2. Log in to Services & subscriptions | Microsoft Account, find your Office product, and re-download and install it.

Please let me know if this works.

Thanks for the reply. I don't think I'll do this unless nothing else works as I once had a difficult time with a reinstallation,

I was wondering whether I have some Trust option that prevents this installation. I looked at the options and they look okay but I can't be sure. I don't remember ever changing the default set but I could have.

    Any other possible solutions?
