Cannot create notebook on iPhone app

Just freshly downloaded the app and cannot even begin to start using because it will not let me create a new notebook, the area to type in the notebook name is not clickable , not sure if this is an app glitch / error that needs to be fixed by Microsoft…

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.   Based on the information you shared, I understand that you seem to be unable to use OneNote properly after downloading it on your iPhone handset, and I understand your feelings very well.Based on the information you have described, I have tested your issue on iPhone, our test version is OneNote 16.89(24090210), ios 17.61, unfortunately it didn't work, so I would like to know more with you to troubleshoot the cause of the issue:

    • Where did you download OneNote from?
    • Are you able to open OneNote notes in OneDrive and then change your notebook name?
    • What version of OneNote and mobile system are you currently using?
