I have 2 workbooks saved to different Sharepont sites.

I want to use GETPIVOTDATA to return data from a pivot table in one workbook into the other but get error messsage and have to open the workbooks. How can I get around not having to have other workbooks open

Unfortunately, the GETPIVOTDATA function requires the source workbook to be open for it to work correctly.

Could you share the expected result? Then I can give suggestions on formula to get same result.
