CoPilot on iPhone in Update Loop

Question

• I have an iPhone 14 running IOS 17.6.1
• I installed CoPilot in August 2024 (worked great)
• I updated CoPilot 3 days ago on September 7, 2024
• When I try to use it, it sends me to "Get the latest update" screen
• I press the "Update Now" button, it goes to App Store, Microsoft CoPilot, Open (essentially a loop)
• I've cleared the cache, deleted/reinstalled, restarted my phone (several times,) no joy
• When I do reinstall, CoPilot screen comes up, asks for login, when I login it goes to "Get latest update"

However...

• If I open Microsoft Edge and press the CoPilot button, everything works great, an extra step but it works (even with CoPilot removed from Apps.)

It shouldn't be this hard - especially, with an awesome app like CoPilot. Essentially, I would like to operate it as a standalone app without going through other MS apps, like I did when I first installed it back in August 2024.

Same issue, tried same fixes, same result. If I open the Bing App and then Copilot from there it works. Nutso, please fix.

Stuck in loop copilot worked fine until Microsoft app came alone on iPhone

Try to open copilot it says open MS app

Open Ms app it goes to files. Select apps try to open copilot it goes to Ms start (news). Please fix. I paid for copilot to use on my phone and now can’t
