I am currently being charged on my regular account and credit card for Microsoft. Yet when I try and unsubscribe all the emails that I have (2) say that there are no charges yet I’m being charged $20 a month on my regular account and $9 a month on my credit card. Please reverse this issue. I have tried calling multiple times but the automated voice is not helpful in anyway. It says my phone number doesn’t exist. If this is so then why am I constantly being charged. Please fix this issue immediately.

    Dear Alia Young,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

Based on the information you have shared, I understand that you seem to have been overcharged for something related to Microsoft 365, and I understand how you feel about being overcharged.

This may be caused by a preset auto-renewal, which I am aware of. Details can be found in this article - ‘Turn recurring billing on or off for a Microsoft subscription - Microsoft Support

Unfortunately, Community Support must now adhere to the following two privacy guidelines:

    1. privacy and security: financial and subscription issues involving personal information are not appropriate for public sharing on the forums.
    2. Access to account information: Community Support cannot directly view a user's subscription details or billing information. Therefore, we cannot process payments or make changes to your account. This information should be handled by the chat support staff in a separate window.

You can try to create a new Microsoft account to access the online chat service and provide the relevant account and identification, such as email address / bank card number details / address details within the account, etc. Here are some steps you can follow:

    Contact Microsoft Support.

    1. Visit this website: Contact - Microsoft Support
    2. Enter your question in the search box there. For example, subscription/tax invoice/refund etc.

    1. Now click on Get Help and select Contact Support below.

    1. Go to the Products and Services tab and select the Microsoft 365 and Office category or Other Products.
    2. On the Category tab, select Manage Subscriptions or Other Alternative.

    1. Go to Confirmation.
    2. You can now select the option to chat with a support specialist on your web browser.

Tip: The chat support team has limited working hours, so if you see the last window indicating that you cannot be contacted, we recommend that you try again the next day. If you prefer phone support, you can leave your phone number. In this way, they will be able to contact you and help you with your problem.

We hope that your issue can be resolved satisfactorily and wish you all the best.

Best wishes Isabella-MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
