Noticed on 9/27/24 I'm receiving the following error via web browser (Chrome and Edge), as well as the iOS app: "User content migrated. Cannot access disabled item." I can only see some of my files in the Recents view, but none of them open. Also, when I go to OneDrive settings, most of my settings are blank. I've verified my account is currently active.

this is exactly my issue. Started Saturday morning. Cant access any of my OneDrive files but I can see the most recently opened from the list. Its incredibly frustrating. I have year of photos and documents that are important. Was on the phone with a nice person from MS tech support today but they couldn't help me and said I had to create a ticket for a OneDrive account rep to contact me. No idea when that will be or IF someone will reach out to me.

I can log into OneDrive on my laptop using my employers MS account and see my work files. Its my personal account that has somehow disappeared. I can dig into my hard drive and see the files and photos in OneDrive but they are all locked and I cant open any of them.

End of October! I cannot access any of my files. Since the last update, it keeps asking if i would like to backup. That was what I was using OneDrive for. I pay for Office 365 and have for years. God knows why because I can always count on Microsoft letting me down. Dropping support for my version of W11 I see.

Just letting everyone know on this thread that my OneDrive is now fully working (I was the one that reported the original issue). I had opened a case with Microsoft, so I'm not sure if someone on their end solved it.

    Hi, Garcia Family1

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I am a OneDrive user like you and I hope you are able to access your files in OneDrive properly.

I understand that you're experiencing a “Migrated user content, unable to access disabled items” error message when using OneDrive.

You can't access your content from either the file list, or any other list, is it?

If so, then your situation may involve a known issue. This issue is currently affecting other OneDrive features as well. So we'll keep an eye on these threads and look forward to your feedback: end an email to the OneDrive support team

Additionally, this issue will be resolved by the end of October, and we'll keep you posted in the threads when it's resolved.

Thank you for your patience and support.

    Best Regards,

    Mila.L-MSFT| Microsoft Community Support Specialist
