Switching 365 Subscription from Amazon to Microsoft and Impact on Outlook

Amazon is no longer offering a Personal 365 plan that includes Outlook. A direct Microsoft subscription does, so I plan to switch.

Outlook no longer allows you to add domain based email accounts to the application. I have like 8 domain based email accounts for my businesses.

How can I cancel my Amazon 365 subscription and start using a Microsoft direct subscription one without losing my domain based email accounts in Outlook?

Is there a smart way to do this? I have read about starting a new Microsoft direct subscription before terminating my Amazon subscription and then being able to transfer files and projects and such from one account to another, but I can't find anything about preserving my domain based accounts in my existing Outlook desktop app.

Thanks.

    Dear SDA365

Thanks for raising your concerns in Microsoft Community.

We understand that you are having problems transferring your Amazon subscription to Microsoft and retaining your Outlook data.

I would like to confirm whether you are using a personal account or a business account.

Normally, you need to back up the data in Outlook, and after subscribing to Microsoft 365 Personal, you can reconfigure your mailbox in the Outlook app.

Unfortunately, since your question involves transferring Microsoft 365 subscriptions and involves domains, this question is more suitable for posting in Microsoft Learn (English only) because more users post these questions there. You can click "Ask a question" where experts can provide more professional solutions.
