Hello everyone,

I’m considering implementing Microsoft Loop in our company to create a centralized knowledge base for all employees. Before proceeding, I have a few questions regarding customization and functionality:

Customizing the User InterfaceI:
iit possible to customize the UI within a Loop page or workspace to align with our company’s corporate identity? For example:Adding a customized cover picture or Incorporating our company’s specific brand colors

How can I do that?

Creating Custom Templates:
How can I create my own templates within Loop? Specifically, I’d like to design a layout with:

A table of contents or quick overview section on the left + Additional interactive options (e.g., embedded videos) on the right

Development Roadmap:
What is the general development direction for Microsoft Loop? Are there plans to introduce features similar to Notion for creating pages, or is the focus on other priorities?

  1. We have several Sharepoint's (an old one and a new one) - can I upload from both ones data and files to our Loop environment? If yes, how does it work?

I appreciate your guidance and look forward to your insights.

    Hi Z.M.123,

Thanks for posting in the community. We are happy to help you.

Regarding your first question, my understanding is that you would like to make this happen at the organization level so that users can directly create a new Loop page or workspace with customized colors or images. If this is the case, currently, there are no built-in features/settings that directly address your needs.

If my understanding conflicts with your meaning, please point it out and let us know.

Regarding your second question, it is possible to save an existing page as a template (right-click the page and select "Save page as template"). Later, when you create a new page, you can select the custom template from Template Gallery.

You can insert the "table of content" by typing "/" and find the "Table of contents" command.

It is possible to add or embed Stream (OneDrive/SharePoint) videos or YouTube videos on the loop page. You can copy/paste the URL of the video directly on the page. How do I add an MP4 video to a Loop page?

Regarding your third question, the direction of development is up to Microsoft. I can't give you an answer to that. However, The "Microsoft 365 Roadmap" website lists all Loop features that are in development. You can visit this site for more details.

Regarding your fourth question, it is possible to attach SharePoint files, libraries, lists, or pages on the loop page. They are hyperlinks as shown below. You can copy/paste the relevant URL directly on the page.
