Hi

I want to create a catchall thread because I’m going to have a lot of different questions and errors.

For now I just want to have a TS sequence that does an install without any USMT or migration (just format the old OS)

It seems like the TS silently fails after the last steps of the PostInstall group, which are “next phase” and “restart computer”

The log file seems to succeed but the TS doesn’t enter the group “State Restore”

Attached here are the logs

Ok. The problem was the group policy. It was disabling the administrator account prematurely.

    Hi, @garegin asatryan
Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

It seems that the task sequence not run state restore after restart computer.
Have we tried to deploy this TS to other machine and whether got the same issue?
And may we know is this a base windows image or a captured image?

    Hello @garegin asatryan

Task sequences are located in the Configuration Manager console. In the Software Library workspace, expand Operating Systems, and select Task Sequences. The Task Sequences node, including subfolders that you create, is replicated throughout the Configuration Manager hierarchy.

By default, a task sequence fails after one step or action fails. If you want the task sequence to continue even when a step fails, edit the task sequence, switch to the Options tab, and then select Continue on error.

You can Manage task sequences to automate tasks, using the below link.

Hope this answers all your queries, if not please do repost back.
