Power Query missing DateTime Tools and List Tools ribbon

I am having a problem with Power Query in Power BI Desktop. First I created blank query, then I entered = DateTime.LocalNow() in the source step. This gave me a value for the current date and time as expected. At this point I should be seeing a new Transform Ribbon with DateTime Tools and a button on the far left to convert the value to a table. This works as expected in Excel Power Query but the ribbon does not appear in Power Query on PBI Desktop. Is there a setting to turn this Ribbon on? I've uninstalled and reinstalled Power BI Desktop from the Microsoft Store with no change. Please help.

Thanks
