Problems with additional class notebooks (desktop /windows)

I have problems with Class notesbook from multiple teams as follows,

I have 2 class notebooks created (from new) in Teams, and i prefer using the desktop app faster edits and cross-notebook section copy (windows )

One of them the 2024 HTX1 is working complete as wanted (web, teams, desktop app)

(I believe I created that one first)

The other (2024 HHX3 Ma) seems fine in web and teams, BUT in desktop app it is a blank notebook :

Teams :

I have tried to created another team and a new classnote book but the problem persists (as described in relation to 2024 HHX3 Ma)

I have tried the fix permissions as described in "https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/fix-class-notebook-when-welcome-collaboration-space-or-content-library-are-missing-dae0729e-a7c5-46ed-809b-ec06900f0d21?ui=en-us&rs=en-us&ad=us" since it sounded similar to my problem, with no luck however.

Both of these HHX3 give synkronization problems

However the HTX1 class notebook (on the same 'location') synchronizes perfectly.

Also I have tried to close the HTX1 notebook , but that didnot help the HHX3 problem.

Note, I just switched position to a new school (where I may be pioneering Class NoteBooks. In my previous position/school, where we were several educators using Class NoteBooks (and Teams) , i did not have these problems.

    Dear Thomas,

    Good day!!

Apologies for the inconvenience caused and please don’t worry, let’s work together on your concern and move towards a resolution path.

I understand your concern but since the problem doesn’t happen with specific Class Notebook and the problematic Notebooks can be opened in the OneNote for the web or Teams application without any issue, I would like to suggest you to follow the below steps and check the outcome:

Note: Before you follow the below steps, please make sure to backup the content in the Notebooks which are not synced to OneNote for the web, you can backup by copying the data manually and pasting it into Word document or directly into the related Notebook via OneNote for the web.

Step 1: Open the OneNote 365 app> File> Info> Click on the Settings on the Notebook> Close this Notebook> Perform the same steps on each Notebook opened in the OneNote app> Account> Sign out from all Office 365 accounts signed into OneNote app> Quit all Office apps.

Step 2: Open the Control Panel> User Accounts> Credential Manager> Windows Credentials> Remove the identities related to Microsoft Office apps.

Step 3: Restart your device> Open the problematic Class Notebook in the OneNote for the web (in the browser)> Click on the Editing at the top right> Click on Open in the Desktop app> Sign in with your Office 365 account details and check the outcome.

If still the same problem persists, please provide the following information which will help us to better understand and guide you in the right direction:

    1. OneNote app Account page screenshot: Open the OneNote app> File> Account> Take a screenshot and share it with us.
    2. Does the problem start to happen after any recent change?
    3. Do other students or teachers having accessing to the problematic Class Notebooks are having the similar issue?
    4. Does the problem happens only with Class Notebooks or even to the normal Notebooks?

Our sincere apologies for not resolving the problem in the first reply but answers to the above queries will help us to better understand your situation and guide you in the right direction.

Appreciate your patience and understanding. Have a great day!!

    Best Regards,
    Sophia
