Go to File> Page Setup - Header & Footer. Open the list of preset Footers & you should see the name of the current file included in the list.
Another method is to access the Footer in Page Layout View & enter the code &[File] .

How do I put the folder name and filename in an Excel footer WITHOUT the path? I've done this before a few years ago but now it seems to always include the entire path, with I don't want.
Thanks for any help provided.
