    Dear TerriL001,

I'm very sorry for the late reply as I had a day off.

Since yesterday we have heard good news, OneNote support team has posted a fixed thread in the community, you can try using OneNote again, if you still have problems, you can continue to post in the community, you can refer to the thread below:

OneNote sync failure error code:0xE00009C8 bb0ur - Microsoft Community [From the OneNote team] OneNote Sync Issue Update - Microsoft Community

I hope this gives you some clear direction and wish you all the best in using it.

    Best wishes

I responded to your message and have not heard back.

Have you all discovered the problem yet?

And what does Error 0xE4020108 mean? It shows where my images were.

    Thank you

    Hi Isabella,

I’m happy to hear I’m not the only one!

I'm accessing data from the desktop version BUT images are not showing up, just copy. The error code where each image should be is: 0xE4020108.

I deleted and re-added the app to my phone. Now I see the various Notebooks but, like the desktop version, images are not there.

    I hope you can help!!

    Terri Lawrence

    Dear TerriL001,

Welcome to the Microsoft Community. Based on the information you've shared, I understand that you seem to have lost your notebook on your iPhone phone, but you can see it on your PC, I understand how you feel. What I need to explain to you is that recently we have been collecting questions about OneNote data loss or not syncing in the community, and there are many users who have encountered issues similar to yours, and we have reported and fed back this issue, and the product manager of OneNote has also mentioned this issue in the thread, you can refer to the link below:OneNote sync failure error code:0xE00009C8 bb0ur - Microsoft CommunityOneNote desktop app cannot sync with OneDrive - Microsoft CommunityI'd like to check with you first if you are accessing OneNote on the web to see the data or on the desktop version of OneNote to see the notes? We would like to gather more information from you to help the OneNote engineers resolve this issue. If you have more information, you can also share it with us in the community, hopefully OneNote technical engineers can solve this issue soon. You are welcome to contact us anytime and we wish you all the best.
