Can't activate office

I've search all the forums for how to reactivate office but all solutions do not work. I had to replace my motherboard for an other model. I was able to actual boot back into my windows account without reinstalling windows. Windows activation was reactivated without issue but Office pro plus 2016 will not. Maybe I missed one solution but I've tried to call the number and provide the long string of numbers but in the end, the system mentionned there was an issue with my activation. I've unlinked my device from my account but that didn't do much and might be more related to windows. I also uninstalled office from this new machin which is the same SSD as before and went to link my key to my account, which then allowed me to reinstall office. However once again, same issue with office not being activated.

When I call, If I do not answer the prompts, I get disconected. If i don'T provide the series of number (installation ID) I get disconnected. I'm running out of ideas. I purchased this in 2017. Any ideas? My only solution I have yet tried is complete format and reinstall. I would really like to avoid this unless there is somewhat some guarantee it will work.

Thanks all

Hi, Office is tied to the Motherboard so if you did not uninstall it before changing the Motherboard Microsoft Servers think that your Office is still on the old Motherboard. Only Microsoft Support can 'deactivate/delink' Office from old Motherboard.
