    Dear Josh Singh,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

As per your description, we're sorry to hear that you are having issue save Excel report in SharePoint shortcut folder.

To help you better, we would like to collect more detailed information you're experiencing so that we can have a further investigation:

    1. Is the SharePoint folder shortcut created as described in Add shortcuts to shared folders in OneDrive for work or school - Microsoft Support?
    2. Are you trying to save file to OneDrive sync folder > SharePoint shortcut folder?
    3. Will the same issue occur if you try to save the file in local disk?
    4. Does the issue happen specific to a file or all files? Please create another file in SharePoint folder and save to check the outcome.
    5. Please share your operating system version and your Excel version with us. For excel version, please take a full screenshot with steps shared in What version of Office am I using? - Microsoft Support and share based on your operating system.

If the understanding above is not consistent with yours, please feel free to post back and point that.

Sorry for the inconvenience again. Your understanding and patience will be highly appreciated. We hope that you are keeping safe and well!

    Thanks for your cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    Rhoda | Microsoft Community Moderator
