Excel document changes to Aptos Narrow

Hello,

I try to write in an excel document but the style keeps changing from Calibri (which I set up as standard writing style in the options menu) to Aptos Narrow.

When I try to change the settings manually in the single cell, it changes back after a while.

Removing Aptos Narrow replaces it with another random style.

I reinstalled everything and made sure to change all writing styles for footer and header to the desired calibri one.

In case I try to write a lot of numbers/letters in the Header using calibri, it tells me that there are too many symbols. When I initially use Aptos Narrow this problem does not occour.

Can you guys please tell me how i can fix this?

It is super frustrating to have all those single sub menus and to read throu all the forums, which do not adress my problem or do not provide a solution for this. Your "Copilot" is also not very useful, since it basically shows me the google results I recieve.

Is ther another hidden sub menu, which tells my excel to use Aptos Narrow or any other writing style I dont want?

Why does it tells me I cant use that many letters in the Header but with Aptos Narrow I can? (I also tried to use a picture to set in all the informations for the Header but it super annoying to apply the correct size to to A4 since Excel doe not scale properly)

Would love to get some Ideas, what I can do to fix that problem. Maybe as a Feedback: Please provide a packed menu, which is not built like a maze.

Best regards

It seems you wrote English in the German forum space, so I'll answer in English as well.

Check the Excel Options, General settings for 'when creating new workbooks". You probably have "Headings font" or "Body font" as the default. That's the new MS style that was introduced several months ago. Set it to your preferred font. Close and restart Excel and you problem should be solved.
