hi, I prepared a PPT presentation in my Windows 2021 (it's amazing) with more transitions and animations but unfortunately I have to present my PPT in another system which has only Windows 2010 and below... all my transitions of my ppt slides were collapsed... it doesn't look interesting... i am completely disappointed... is there any ways to rectify these kind of problems?

The best practice is to create the presentation in the same version that is used to display it. Over the years, PowerPoint has added animations that just don't exist in the 2010 edition. There's no way to fix that.

As a workaround, you can upload your file to OneDrive, then show it in a web browser using PowerPoint for the web. The online edition should be able to show all your animations.

    Hello Priya Dharshini K.D.

Good day!! Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

May I know the version of PowerPoint App installed on Windows 2010? Which transitions and animations don't work on Windows 2010?

As far as I know, the issues you're experiencing with your PowerPoint presentation when using a different system, particularly one running an older version like Windows 2010, could be due to differences in software capabilities and features.

To my knowledge, newer versions of PowerPoint (like PowerPoint 2021) include features, transitions, and animations that may not be supported in older versions of PowerPoint. So I guess that it's possible that when you use features that are not available in the older version, they may either be ignored or cause the presentation to display incorrectly.

Look forward to your reply. Thanks for your time and cooperation!

Hope you have a nice day.

    Best regards,

    Tina
