Is it possible to duplicate a table while maintaining the column type?

Hello,

I was wondering if there's a way to duplicate tables while retaining the column types. For example, If I set a column type to 'Date'. I'd like the duplicated table to maintain this column as a 'Date' type. If this isn't currently possible, I think adding this feature could save a lot of time and effort when working with similar data structures!

    Dear Diana Q.,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

We understand that you want to copy the table in the Loop.

We see that you want to copy the table while retaining the column type. We have tested and confirmed it, and need to explain to you:

Due to the function and setting restrictions of Loop, the table mainly exists as a part of the Loop component, and format errors may occur when copying.

And you cannot directly copy the entire inserted table in Loop, and the loop function is temporarily unsupported. But if you need to retain the column type, you can try to copy a separate column and confirm it.

To copy a separate column, you can try the following:

Click the column you want to copy. After selecting it, the "Select" button will be displayed. Clicking it will select the entire column. You can use shortcut keys or right-click to copy and paste it elsewhere.

We also thank you for your use and support of Loop. Your suggestions and feedback will promote Microsoft's updates.

We also recommend that you put forward your suggestions and ideas in the dedicated feedback platform Loop · Community (microsoft.com) (English only), where dedicated personnel will pay attention to your feedback and comment on it.

    Best Regards,
