Windows server 2019 core

Question

I have Windows server standard 2019 core server licence "Windows Server (DataCenter Core/Standard Core) version 2004 (released May 2020)" I purchased from Microsoft Partner Center. I have installed Windows server 2019 core Hyper-V using the license key. Then installed Windows server standard 2019 full features and activating with the same key, there was no problem.
Installed the second Windows Server standard 2019 full features using the same ISO, but cannot activate with the same license key. Getting error message "Error: 0xc004F069 On a computer running Microsoft Windows non-core edition, run 'slui.exe 0x2a 0xc004F069' to display the error text'
So is there something I did not understand, where I am going wrong?

As a work around , mght also try using a kms key as intermediary step.
Dism /online /Set-Edition:ServerStandard /ProductKey:N69G4-B89J2-4G8F4-WWYCC-J464C /AcceptEula

then if successful use your own product key below after reboot
slmgr /ipk xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
slmgr /ato

Hey, @Paul You can able to transfer the Product key to New PC on windows 10.
When you have a computer with a retail license of Windows 10, you can transfer the product key to a new device. You only have to remove the license from the previous machine and then apply the same key on the new computer.
