Hi, I am not able to make sure you are using a business version. That's why I was asking you. If you are using a business version, we will move your case to business section.

I don't think your issue is related to which I account you logged in, as it's related to activation. Besides, if you log in by a non-Microsoft 365 account, the Office program still works fine, since the activation status is stored for several dozen days after being activated.

If share a sample file is not feasible, a screenshot maybe helpful, still remember to blur the sensitive data.

    Thank you for your understanding.

This is really getting messed up. I did not intentionally subscribe to business version. That should be deleted.

I figured out my dillemna. Since I am using a family OFFICE 365 in my wife's account, I forget that I have to use OFFICE 365 in her account. When I open files they open in my MICROSOFT account which is not subscribed to OFFICE 365. Dates do not display when working in my account.

When I switched to my wifes MICROSOFT OFFICE 365 account, then the numbers displayed as dates.

Will you make sure I am not subscribed to business version? I went into my account and didn't see that I am subscribed.

    Thanks

    Gary

Or you can store your sample file (remind to not include sensitive data) on cloud drive and post a link of your file here.

In addition, are you using a business version of Microsoft 365?

OFFICE 365 family plan is under my wife's account. I cannot do a private message.

I have used MICROSOFT OFFICE FOR 25 YEARS. OFFICE 365, IS THE most confusing program I have ever used.

    I don't see how I can attach a document.

    Thanks for responding.
