TCP Connection to Controller not working, TCP connection timeout on company pc's
Good morning everybody
I have a problem with establishing a proper TCP connection with a controller by CCS (LLS-2420: CCS Light sequence switch (LSS-2404) for control of lighting for Computational Imaging). I wish to use their SDK which requires my application to request a license from the controller itself. I have connected my laptop directly via the Ethernet LAN port to the LSS-controller.
The controller has the follwing IP-adress: 192.168.0.10 and I set my PC's adress to 192.168.0.20.
Generally the connection works as it should, I can manually trigger the lights without issue. Also, using the browser I am able to directly request information from the device (see image below):
Now in order to use their SDK they make an application request a license from said controller, in order to use all of their methods and classes:
Unfortunately this does not work on my company computer. The following image displays a Demo software, which works on other non-Company Win10 computers but not on ours.
Using Wireshark I observed the following:
The TCP connection is successfully established, but no request from my Pc leaves to the controller. After 7s the connection gets forcefully shut down using RST. This is how it should look like
(pls ignore the blue traffic)
I have already tried disabling the firewall manually and manually adding rules for the app itself, though nothing worked. I run into this office which each of our company pc's, but any other pc works just fine. (No firewall disabling or the like needed).
I am at the end of my wits here, if anyone has an idea it would be much appreciated
