This is for site recovery, if your on-prem config/process server crashes, what are the steps to get this back up as quickly as possible and have the protected servers replicating again? Do you build a new one and re-register it? Thank you in advance.

Configuration Server (CS) has a MySql installed in it, which holds a lot of information like the replicated items and the discovered items etc.

If the CS is lost, then there can be issues with replication and failback/protection of new items are not possible. So we need to have backups for the Configuration Server.

If you are using a scale out Process Server (PS), and if that goes down, that could be handled by switching the traffic to a new PS.
