Could you upload a screen shot which illustrates what you see in Word?

2024-09-09T11:10:56+00:00 Dear Gladys W. Thurber,
Thanks for visiting Microsoft Community. I am happy to help you.
I understand that the text size changes when entering text in Word.
Due to the limited information I have learned, I am unable to provide you with accurate advice. In order to better understand and solve your problem, I need to confirm some information with you:
- If it's convenient for you, could you share a screenshot of what you are experiencing with me?
- What is your Office version? You can click File in the upper left corner, select Account, and your Office product information can be displayed under Product Information on the right side. If it is convenient for you, can you take a screenshot and share it with me?
- Does the text size change in Word that you create yourself or does the text size change when I enter text in a Word file that someone else has shared with you?
Before you reply me, you can try the following:
1.Cancel the add-ons
Click the top left corner of the document File - Options - Add-ons - Manage the place to change to COM add-ons, and then select "Go to", uncheck all the add-ons, click OK, restart the document, look at the effect.
2. Delete word templates
Close all documents, press Windows + R, in the open Run box, type: %AppData%\Microsoft\Templates, press Enter.
Backup and delete the .dotm extension of the file, such as Normal.dotm, and then reopen the word document to see if the problem is solved.
3.Registry reset office.
Close all office applications.
Press Windows + R , in the run box that opens type: regedit and press enter.
Locate the following key value and rename the Office folder (right-click on it and select Rename, e.g. rename Office to Officeold)
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office
Then re-open the word document to try the effect.
Disclaimer: Modifying the registry or workgroups is usually geared towards advanced users, administrators, and IT professionals, and it can help fix some problems, however, improper registry modifications can cause serious problems. Therefore, please make sure to follow the steps below strictly. For further protection, make a backup of the registry before modifying it.
Please feel free to contact me if you need further assistance.
