SharePoint site automatically creates a group which I've added the necessary members and have made them all "Owners".

One of the members cannot access a subfolder within a Document library and get the following error message:

Any ideas why this would happen?

    Dear Johnny Nguyen1,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

We are sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with SharePoint access not functioning properly. I deeply understand the inconvenience caused and apologize for it.

We appreciate your understanding that sometimes the initial response may not resolve the problem immediately. However, we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation. So, for further troubleshooting, could you please provide the information below:

    1. Could you please let me know if the subfolder has unique permissions that might not be inheriting from the parent folder?
    2. Could you please let me know if the affected member has tried using a different browser in private or incognito mode?
    3. May I know if the user's account is not facing any sync issues within your organization's directory services?
    4. Could you please let me know how long ago you added affected member as an owner of the group?

Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. We appreciate your patience and understanding and thank you for your time and cooperation.

    Sincerely,

Ralph Chawatama | Microsoft Community Moderator
