Hi

We have an excel table. There are many links in it. There those that point to a forms sheet. When I open it from Excel, a blank sheet pops up. If I open it from a desktop shortcut or outlook email, a working page pops up. In first case the page is "deprecated" in second case the page is "response". The starting link is the same. It was still working a few weeks ago.

Does anyone have any ideas?

    Hi Tohotom,

Thanks for posting in the community. We are happy to help you.

Per your description, I would like to gather more information before providing suggestions. This can help to better understand the situation on your end.

    1. I think the Excel workbook (Excel table) is stored in SharePoint.

If not, i.e. it is a local workbook, please point it out and let us know.

    1. If the Excel workbook is stored in SharePoint, I suggest you open it in the Excel web app, then click the links in it and check the results. This can help us to troubleshoot if the problem is caused by the link or the workbook itself.

You can go to www.offfice.com, click the Excel icon in the left sidebar, and then open the online workbook from the Recent list on the page.

    1. Regarding "There those that point to a forms sheet", is the forms sheet in another Excel workbook? Or is it a sheet in the same workbook?

In addition, regarding the forms sheet, I would like to know if it is a workbook associated with a form in Microsoft Forms.

    1. Are your colleagues experiencing the same situation when clicking the link in this workbook?
    2. Please provide some screenshots of the situation.

You can upload screenshots via "Insert Image".

  2. Please provide your Excel version and Subscription Information.

This can help us to check if the problem is caused by a specific Office version. You can click File> Account and check the relevant information as shown below.
