Hi Team,

I want to provide view only access to the team with Microsoft Form, the current collaboration is both edit and view. How can I give view only access? Also, is there a way I can track who has made the recent changes?

Thanks,

Neha

    Dear Neha,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

We are sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with view Access to Microsoft Forms. I deeply understand the inconvenience caused and apologize for it.

Unfortunately, Microsoft Forms does not currently support a direct “view-only” mode for collaboration. We understand that this limitation can be frustrating, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. We value your understanding, and I also agree with you that this would be a great addition to the features of Microsoft Office 365.

Microsoft values user feedback. We encourage you to share your thoughts and suggestions through our feedback community under Microsoft Forms · Community. The product development team monitors this site around the clock, and your feedback will be considered. This is the best way to let the team know your needs and help improve our products and services. We hope to see this feature in a future version of Forms.

Also, the easiest way to track who has made recent changes is through the audit log. You can sign into Microsoft Purview at Home - Microsoft Purview and run an audit log with the following activities: Audit log activities | Microsoft Learn. For this, you will need to have Admin access

Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. We appreciate your patience and understanding and thank you for your time and cooperation.

    Sincerely,

Ralph Chawatama | Microsoft Community Moderator
