Column alignment changing after converting to .csv from .xlsx.

When converting an .xlsx file to a UTF-8 .csv file the alignment on one column changes from middle alignment to some numbers being aligned right and some left. If I change the alignment and save the .csv file it does not hold. None of the other columns have this same issue. I have tried changing the alignment when still in .xlsx format but it still changes it upon conversion.

Could you share a test file to reproduce the issue? From your screenshot, it seem invisible characters in your xlsx file.

For sharing file, you may upload it to OneDrive or any other cloud drive and then post the link here.  *Please make sure you have removed any sensitive or private information in the sample file before uploading.

You may try clean function to remove invisible characters.

I'm not sure what is happening then because it starts out correct but then changes when I save as a .csv file. Is there a reason that it would be doing this? It has never done this before.

When converting an .xlsx file to a .csv file, it's important to note that .csv files do not retain any formatting, including alignment, fonts, colors, or cell borders. This is because .csv files are plain text files that only store data, not formatting.
