Hi,

I have enabled Targeted Audience on my SharePoint List and have created security groups for each department, but when I try to select/insert the security group in the list rows, I get the error "object reference not set to an instance of an object. What I intend to do is to display the data for the respective department which I have embedded the list in a web part. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

Steffny

    Hi Sophia,

    Thank you for your reply.

Yes, I have enabled the "Allow selection of Groups" option. It's been more than 24 hours since I've enabled the settings but I'm still getting the same error.

    Thanks

    Steffny
