Fill Down conditionally

I'm hoping someone can help me write some Power Query code. 🙏

My table (see sample below) has rows with some blank values, and I want to copy the values from the rows above. I know Fill Down can do this, but in my case I need to be able to fill down "conditionally". Specifically, I want to copy down the value from Product field ONLY if the Date field is also blank. So in the sample table, I want rows 4 and 5 to get "Widget A" and row 9 to get "Widget D" in the Product field; but I DON'T want the Product field to get anything for row 7 because its Date field isn't null.

Does anyone have any suggestions how to accomplish this, whether using Fill Down or some other technique?

Index Date Product Note Amount
1 1/1/2024 Widget A R33 50
2 1/1/2024 Widget B T15 40
3 2/1/2024 Widget A R33 35
4 R74 15
5 R88 4
6 3/1/2024 Widget C A05 20
7 4/1/2024 A10 5
8 5/1/2024 Widget D A15 22
9 A17 3
